About Ìtùnú Psychiatry

Our Meaning

The Yoruba word “Ìtùnú” means comfort and peace of mind under any circumstances. It may be used in times of grief, loss of a loved one, disappointment in life, or failure to achieve one’s dreams. While comfort may be found in personal, spiritual, or religious beliefs, the help of a mental health professional may be beneficial to reach a place of peaceful acceptance, recovery, and rejuvenation.

Our Approach

We take a personalized approach to each client's care, and tailor our treatments to meet their unique needs. Our team of experienced mental health professionals collaborates closely and uses evidence-based practices to help our clients achieve their mental health goals.

Our Services

We specialize in Reproductive Psychiatry, which means we care for individuals who are experiencing mental health challenges related to hormonal changes across the reproductive lifespan.  We also provide general psychiatry services to individuals of any gender.
